REM Experience selected among the TOP101 most innovative companies for its training simulators

REM Experience has been recognised as one of the 101 most innovative companies with the greatest social and environmental impact in Spain in the TOP101 Spain Up Nation Awards, promoted by ENISA and Foro ADR. The recognition places REM among the most promising ventures in the national start-up ecosystem, highlighting its work designing and developing interactive simulators for vocational and corporate training.
Immersive training for first-hand learning
At REM Experience the team works to improve people's quality of life through immersive training solutions, designed to offer a more practical, motivating and effective learning experience. Its simulators are used in fields such as medicine, occupational risk prevention, mechanics and training for health, care and social services teams, adapting to real learning needs.
These interactive environments recreate real situations in safe digital settings where users can interact, make decisions and develop key skills. Their advantages include:
- A stronger link between theory and practice.
- Development of professional skills in simulated environments.
- Performance-based assessment.
- Scalable, customisable training content.
One of its flagship products is Explorar, a SaaS platform that lets any training centre or company create its own augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) training apps without any coding. The platform is already used in six vocational training centres and at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), and has a back end for updating text, images and 3D models at any time, keeping the training apps permanently up to date.
In-house technology and a scalable business model
REM Experience's approach is clearly focused on innovation. Explorar combines trainable conversational assistants, AR 3D models and customisable mini-games, all in a no-code environment accessible to teachers and trainers. Through a SaaS model with scalable licences, the platform opens up access to advanced technology and stands apart from more closed, expensive solutions.
REM has also chosen to involve users from the early stages of development, bringing in teachers and students as early users to improve the user experience (UX) and adapt content to real training contexts.
A project with impact and an international outlook
REM Experience's proposal is aligned with the principles of TOP101 Spain Up Nation, which recognises companies with sustainable models and the capacity to generate economic and social impact. REM contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 (quality education), SDG 5 (gender equality), SDG 8 (decent work), SDG 9 (innovation), SDG 10 (reduced inequalities) and SDG 12 (responsible use of resources).
In terms of growth, the company has carried out projects in every autonomous community in Spain and has begun expanding internationally, with projects in Mexico and the USA and participation in European calls such as Horizon and the EIT Creativity Awards. Its goal for the next three years is to reach 300 international licences, particularly in Europe and Latin America.
